CCA cable have many disadvantages.  Although it is a cheaper cable and may save you money installing your cameras, it will cost you in the long run:

• Image quality degration 
• Poor flexibility that can cause breakage (Up to 30% failure)
• 55% more resistance than copper (meaning cannot run long distances)
• This resistance can heat your cable and cause all sorts of problems in the long run
• EASY TO TEST IF PURE COPPER OR CHEAP CCA CABLE :  Just take your lighter or any source of fire, CCA cable will go from a copper colour to a silver colour and bend after a few seconds.  Copper cable will keep it's form and show a slight discoloration, but not go silver and not bend.
• DON'T EVER START AN INSTALLATION WITH THE CHEAPEST CABLE AND POWERSUPPLY.  THIS IS THE CORE OF YOUR INSTALLATION AND CAMERA FAILURES MOST OF THE TIME IS CAUSED BY THIS MISTAKE.
